Zonta International is a leading global organization
of professionals empowering women worldwide through
service and advocacy.
Vision
Zonta International envisions a world in which women's rights
are recognized as human rights and every woman is able to
achieve her full potential.
In such a world, women have access to all resources
and are represented in decision making positions on an
equal basis with men.
In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.
The Zonta Club of Geelong Inc. is part of District 23 of Zonta International and has been providing service and advocacy at a local level for 40 years. We support a range of service projects and awards at the International, District and local Club levels to help women in Australia and overseas. The Club's membership is made up of a broad cross-section of volunteers from in and around Geelong, in a diverse range of professions. The major business of the club is managed by the elected executives who make up the Board of Directors.

Our Service Projects

Assembling and distributing birthing kits that provide for a clean and safe birthing environment for women without access to professional medical care in developing countries

Making and distributing breast care cushions for women (and men) recovering from breast surgery in Australia.
For over 20 years we have been making 1000 Birthing Kits a year. Again in 2023 we will raise the necessary $5000 to make a further 1000. If you can assist is supporting this great work please contact us.
